Wellness Plan for a Purposeful Life

We all begin in this life as a blank canvas. Things begin to take shape and develop over time. As an infant, our parents are instructed to provide well-baby visits to receive immunization and medication to "prevent" diseases. The main goal is to keep your child healthy, identify deficiencies, and establish a baseline. This thought process and practice MUST continue throughout the various stages of life. If regular visits are made to your HCP (Health Care Practitoner), a self-care plan should be developed and followed. Our current thought process is to visit the doctor's office when we get sick or don't feel well. Think of it this way: Well-baby=Well-Adult!!
Let's begin the New Year with a New Plan. For the next 12 months I will provide monthly posts pertaining to your 12 steps to Self-care and Wellness. The very first and most important step is to schedule a health assessment with your Health Care Practitioner to establish a baseline and begin your self-care plan.

With your wellness in mind,
